***We are undergoing an upgrade of our Online Permitting software. While we’re migrating all 21 communities on the Berkshire Building Platform, our online portal will be closed for a week before the new site is up and running. This will go into effect starting on Friday, March 22nd and the new site will be live and available for applicant submissions beginning Monday, April 1st. 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. During this time, we ask if you have multiple PermitEyes accounts, please make sure that the Email ID associated with them is consistent. When we move to the new site, all duplicate applicant accounts will be consolidated into one. Having the same email address associated with all your accounts will ensure a smooth transition into using the new software on April 1st.

Manages the operations of the Building Department which include: building, electrical, plumbing/gas, zoning enforcement and public buildings. The Building Inspector also examines and reviews plans for building construction or alterations to determine compliance with state codes, local zoning bylaws, and other applicable regulations.
