Fire and Rescue

New Marlborough Fire and Rescue provides fire, ambulance and emergency services to the Town of New Marlborough.  A dedicated corps of volunteers, including twenty firefighters and seven Emergency Medical Technicians, respond to approximately 200 calls per year.  Based in the Village of Southfield, New Marlborough Fire and Rescue operates with two engines, one engine/tanker, a Basic Life Support ambulance, brush truck, ATV and a rescue boat.  It is the mission of New Marlborough Fire and Rescue to provide professional, prompt and courteous emergency services to residents and visitors to the Town of New Marlborough and, when requested, to surrounding communities.  The organization traces its roots to 1930 and the founding of the Southfield Fire Company.
